This privacy policy covers how Adzood.com treats personal information that Adzood.com collects and receives. General Information
The information contained within the member profile you register is solely used to match posted information with potential buyers/sellers and/or projects. Buyer and Seller contact information is NEVER released to third parties of any kind. User profiles are displayed in search results listings WITHOUT contact information. User contact information is only revealed to a Project Buyer ("Company" or "Individual") AFTER sellers proactively submit bids and proposals to projects.
Registered Adzood.com users (buyers and sellers which can be a Company or Individual) can be assured that none of the information submitted to Adzood.com will ever be sold or redistributed without express user consent.
• Adzood.com will never sell, redistribute, or disclose your name, e-mail address, or any other information submitted to Adzood.com to third parties without express user consent.
• Adzood.com collects personal information when you register with Adzood.com to use Adzood.com services or to post content on Adzood.com. When you register we ask for your email address and certain optional information such as biographical information, skills, experience, education, and personal interests.
• If you would like to obtain a Seller account, we will ask for your billing address, phone number, and credit card information.
• Adzood.com automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie, and the page you request.
• Adzood.com uses information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, research, and anonymous reporting. IP Addresses IP Addresses are automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page. Your IP address is stored in our user registration databases when you register with Adzood.com. IP addresses may be used for various purposes, including: to diagnose or service technology problems reported by our users or engineers that are associated with the IP addresses controlled by a specific web company or ISP; to estimate the total number of users visiting Adzood.com from specific geographical regions; to make sure that people are not voting for themselves or friends during contests or promotions.
Information Collection and Use
Adzood.com is a Web-based marketplace/exchange that directly connects businesses with freelancers (Company or Individual) and vice-versa. Adzood.com is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. We will not sell, share or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Adzood.com will not provide any personally identifying information on individual members to any third party, unless expressly requested by Adzood.com and authorized by the individual member.
All registered Adzood.com members click the "I AGREE" checkbox on the Registration form to agree to the Adzood.com Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Registered users on Adzood.com agree that some profile information is made accessible to other registered users who conduct searches of the Adzood.com database. This information may include a user's skills, experience, education, compensation, work availability, region, self-evaluation, photo, and member statistics. Such information does not identify the specificity of the individual member.
Service-related Announcements
We will send you a welcome/confirmation email when you sign up for our services. Receipt of this email is required for using our services.
We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may NOT opt-out of these service related communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account by emailing support@Adzood.com from the email address you registered with.
Choice/Opt-out
If you no longer wish to receive email announcement and/or promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by emailing us at support@Adzood.com.com.
Cookies

When you post a message, your Adzood.com User Name that you registered with, and post under is visible to other users and the general public. If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Adzood.com may be required to disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Adzood.com Terms of Service. Adzood.com may share aggregate demographic information with business partners and/or advertisers, such as "53% of users who regularly sell on Adzood.com are between 23 and 32" or the like. No personally identifiable information will ever be used without your permission.
Adzood.com does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested or when we have your permission. It may be necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Adzood.com's Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law. We will transfer information about you if Adzood.com is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, Adzood.com will notify you by email or by putting a prominent notice on the Adzood.com web site before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
As part of the buying and selling process on Adzood.com, you may obtain the email address and/or shipping address of other Adzood.com members depending upon the type of item listed. By entering into our User Agreement, you agree that, with respect to other users' personal information that you obtain through Adzood.com or through an Adzood.com-related communication or Adzood.com-facilitated transactions, Adzood.com hereby grants to you a license to use such information only for Adzood.com-related communications that are not unsolicited commercial messages. Adzood.com and our users do not tolerate spam. Therefore, without limiting the foregoing, you are not licensed to add an Adzood.com user, even a user who has purchased an item from you, to your mail list (email or physical mail) without their express written consent.
We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.
Forum
If you use the Adzood.com Forum, you should be aware that any personally identifiable information you submit there can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums.
Editing and Deleting Account Information
You can change your Adzood.com Account Information (except your username), at any time. We may send you certain communications relating to the Adzood.com service, such as service announcements and administrative messages that are considered part of your Adzood.com account. You can delete your Adzood.com account at any time from your account page; however, please note that your identification, billing and contact information may remain in Adzood.com's records for some period.
If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete, or deactivate such by making the change on your member account page ("My Adzood") or by emailing Customer Support: support@adzood.com.
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) on our Web Site, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
